Two bolts and one big nut and the bracket with the bushing is off of the car. You can then press out the old bushings and press in the new ones or have a shop do it for a few bucks. I did both sides on my car in less than an hour total.

If your steering is notably stiffer than before the dealer may have forgotten to reconnect the wiring to the PPS solenoid on the new rack. I forgot to reconnect mine one time and it felt like I was only getting about 50% power assist. It's a small 2 wire connector that plugs in near where the steering shaft meets the rack.
Of course, the key here is removing the the lower control arm and then sending it out to a third part to press in the new bushing.. As you can see it starts get somewhat complicated with relying on different sources. Unless you are doing all the work yourself, it's best to use one shop to do all the work! yes you can save money parceling jobs out, but is it worth the effort? and if there are problems in between? Just more complicated in my eyes. Give to one shop and get it done. Bringing your own parts to save money is another option and most shops are fine with it.. Good luck.

You don't have to remove the control arm to replace the bushing. Just unbolt the bracket and it comes off with the bushing. Lifting the car up makes it easier but isn't necessary either.
