Default Static LS430's on 19s and 20s

I recently purchased a 02 UL and I think I'll be ditching the factory air in a few months for some coilovers. I am going with coilovers over aftermarket air since that's what I have experience with and currently unsure whether to go with 19s or 20s. I'm not looking to debate the pros or cons of air vs static suspension.

The LS430 picture thread has cars that are mostly on air. Trying to see some static LS430s on 19s and 20s. If such a thread exists just close this one and point me to that thread. When posting pics, post along with suspension, wheel sizes and body modifications if any.

Thanks.

Check out @whobemackin from PURE VIP SoCal on IG. He ditched aftermarket air to roll static.

Lowered on Tanabe NF210 ( about 1" drop )
Front has Youzealand SS pro kit ( about another 1" drop)
Rear youzealand has not been installed yet but soon..........will update pics as soon as i do

19x9 +30ish 235/40
19x10 +30ish 255/40
running fat tire set up and it rides pretty damn smooth to me.

The reason i didnt want to go coilover is because I wanted to keep the smooth ride. after researching, i found that the NF210 was my best bet. Unfortunately after a few months, the car did not look low enough. Which led me to get the Youzealand lowering blocks. After installing the front, I was happy with the stance rolling on stock 18" 3GS wheels. I recently added the 19" Ritter and the rear gap is annoying the **** out of me so i will get the rear blocks installed asap. Now I'm kicking myself in the a$$. should've just got the Tein CS to begin with. More money but it might have been worth it. Im still happy with the ride comfort that i have. Its pretty smooth and no rubbing

That looks good. Please post pics once the rear has been lowered as well. I was thinking about Fortune Auto coilovers are those popular in LSs? I have heard several mentions of Tein CS on here will do more research on them.

Tein CS maintain the smooth ride however They don't go that low. I believe it's only a 2" drop but people pair them with lowering blocks which adds another inch

Beautiful LS. I just followed your build thread and found lots of helpful information. How does the car ride with the current suspension?

What are some spring rates that static LS' run without making the ride too harsh? I am trying to have as smooth of a ride as possible when I go static.

Do you have any more pics? What suspension set-up are you running? I love the color.

For the most part it's smooth. I'm on 18/16k spring rates. To be honest, I need to adjust them to be a tad bit softer. I believe i'm 16 clicks from the stiffest setting and BC has 32 settings.

I'm looking to purchase a set of 20s in static / stock body (fender rolling and pulling is ok) friendly sizes. Looking to purchase in a month or two and preferably in the East Coast but will pay shipping if price is right.

This is a matter of personal preference, you'd have to try and see for yourself.
I personally feel that 20s look somewhat too large, also 20s with a step lip is essentially 19" but with less tire, which doesn't make any sense. If you want the ride to be even remotely smooth you need 40 or 45 profile tires, 35 tires ride like a rock. Also lowering springs at most, any coilovers will make the ride much harder. I drove on my coils with 14k/6k springs on 225/35 tires it was too hard. I'm going back to 225/40 which is still very hard compared to stock, going over a 1" bump feels like jumping off a curb.
Here's a pic of mine on 19"s
