Hi,

I just purchased an 2005 LS430, came out this morning and some idiots vandalized several cars. Sadly mines was one of them, I need to know which mirrors to purchase? They have several different ones to choose from.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post pictures of the damage? If you're talking about replacing the glass mirror, you have basically 2 to choose from - driver-side and passenger-side. The drive-side mirror is a plain mirror with embedded heating element, the passenger is slightly concave to give you a wider view. It also has an embedded heating element.

I need to know which model of mirrors to buy? They have auto dimming with power folding and puddle light or just power folding with puddle light.

There are apparently 2 types of mirrors; type "A" and "B". The letter is indicated on the bottom on the casing so look at your good one to see what type you need. IDK the difference between the two; maybe the plug for the harness is changed which is a typical Toyota thing.

Find one in your area with the link above. The whole assembly new from even the discount dealers is $500+; a little insane.

The prices for used are insane, what are opinions on aftermarket? I can get a brand new pair for 500.00, I also seen a JDM set on Ebay. (will they work?**

Not sure if you read my pm reply but they are 100% oem functional. I was going to buy them myself but I recently bought Kazz blue mirror replacements. Don't sleep on them the price is great especially for the led blinker.

 

I contacted him, was ready to buy. He said they were still for sale, messaged me the next day and said they were sold........��
