Is the immobilizer in the steering column.

 

The immobilizer system consists of several components. The steering lock ECU and actuator are at the steering column.

 

Holy hell that is way more complicated than an evo so if i am gonna use the ecu from a corvette as well as the chip in the key and immobilizer i would just have to swap the ecu, chip in the key and transponder key amplifier correct? I am not used to this level of anti theft stuff sorry for so many questions.
