lost my master key and i have to change my ecu so if anyone has or knows any one with awreck 98-00 gs4 they want to part out im looking to buy the ecu and key thanks

Question though, if you do this, wouldn't you techinically have to change out EVERY lock on the car?

you can get your ecu reflashed for between 150-400 dollars. some locksmith have the tool for this. This will help you avoid having to change all your locks and even give you more than one master key for future purposes.

is that really possible? has it been done to a lexus before if so thanks alot because i cant afford to get a new ecu now i dont think you have to change all your locks just the ecu so they can program the new key to it

its been done amillion times. I can attest to thatcause i was in the same situation.
the locksmith wipes off every key programmed to your and then reprogrammes a cut key to the system. that way,you don't have to change any locks as the cut key is cut for your car and locks.

went to see aliga got 2 master keys and ecu reflashed thanks guys aliga very professional and prompt a definate asset to the club
