Noted today the rear passenger door closes with a heavy noise, and sometimes the self close motor not activated on soft closing. I noted the strike plate was actually hitting the lower edge of the latch gap on the door, so it is not a sagging door (if door sagging it should hit the upper edge on the door). Took out the black plastic and adjusted the strike plate down a bit which fixed the issue. Weired problem as the door was not repaired and car was not in an accident anytime. And not from sagging of door too. It is an 04 LS430 UL.
