So, through 2 experiences, I think I figured out my problem with the Goodyear's. I have made 4 trips per year from Utah back to see my parents in Washington, a 10-hour drive. One time last year I stopped at a Discount Tire in Boise, ID to have them check pressure because they felt squishy to me. They were fine. Then I was coming back to Utah Friday and yesterday, and noticed as I have on a few occasions that my MPG's were not what I used to brag about, but the ride was very smooth. My conclusion?....These tires soften too much. My in-town mileage is good, but then my highway MPG's are not like they used to be with Primacy's. I was doing 2-lane highways one time, 65 all day, and the computer read above 30 MPG all day! Friday and yesterday I couldn't even hit 25. There could be an engine thing, but my car is serviced like crazy by the dealer, so there really shouldn't be....???
Unless I find something wrong, wouldn't buy these again. Good tires, but geared to those who don't care about gas.
