Does it lock and unlock with the power lock button inside the car? If not, the lock actuator is likely dead and needs to be replaced.

Not keen in taking my car in and paying $500 to replace the driver door lock actuator.

Anyone here know if I can get a "regular" key made to use the driver door lock .... the key inside smart key is not that sturdy to use on a daily basis.
