Default 2005 LS430 Ultra - Removing Trunk Interior

I suspect that my rear A/C is leaking. Can any one tell me how to remove the trunk interior to gain access? Thanks - Bill

what caused you to suspect a leak?
did you actually see something leaking? or did the a/c blew only lukewarm

I wasn't getting any cold air Last June so I had the system recharged with dye added. I now have a large fluorescent green oil stain under the car beside the left rear wheel. The leak appears to start a few inches below the trunk on the a/c pipes. I'm taking it to my mechanic Monday and hope to pinpoint the source of the leak then. No sign of any leak in the system in trunk. Thanks - Bill

when I did a wheelalignment after the coilover installation the mechanic pointed to a a/c leak beside the rearwheel. He tried to fix is with J-weld; it did not fix it. I wanted to get another evaluation, so:
Dealer - wanted to replace the line 550 for the line, ca 700 for labor.
Went back to my BMW mechanic. He evacuated the system, put RedTek Pro sealer in, topped up the system. Cost 165 total (labor was 3/4 hr).
So far, after 2 weeks, it held.
I have used Redtek before in my 735 with good success. It does not require to change the system, eg. from R12 to R134a. Saved a bundle.
You can read the advantages on their website Redtek.com

The Red Tek website appears to be down this morning but I have found a couple of positive reviews. I'll certainly consider that option once I have a better understanding of my leak. Thanks - Bill
