Default New 2003 LS 430 Owner

Hello All,

New to the forums as well as a new LS 430 owner. Hope I do not bore anyone, but this is kind of my backstory. I had a 1999 Toyota Camry for 10 yrs that finally bit the dust this past Friday. Had rod bearings replaced, and still had major engine problems.

So me and my wife went out Saturday to look at cars. Went from dealership to dealership with no such luck. Finally our last stop on the way home we go to a little small dealership near our house. I had always wanted a Lexus ES 300, but Lexus just never crossed our mind while searching for this new secondary car. The lot of course wanted to put us in something newer like a charger, Avalon, etc, but something struck me with this LS 430 that they had. Paint is overall in pretty great shape compared to the year, and interior is tan leather, and pretty much flawless. We both took for a test drive and we kind of looked at each other and knew that this was something that we actually wanted. For it being a 2003 it was the most comfortable car I think I have ever rode in.

Needless to say we are now proud owners of a 2003 LS 430. I look forward to learning more about the Lexus experience, and talking with you all. It has been a dream so far.

PS: It currently has 143k miles on it, and if anyone could send me some info regarding servicing for timing belt, and all of that other jazz that would be excellent.

Thanks

Jeff
