Has anyone changed out the orange footwell lights in a 2004 Ls430 ? I wanted to change them to white LED's but isn't sure they can be changed. Help please

Check out the FAQ section here. Post 32 shows how it looks with the white LED:

Fronts are really easy. You need 3mm LED's(5mm if you want more light), in whatever color you want. Very easy to solder on the board. The board clips out so you can remove it for easier access.

However, the rears are tricky and I ruined mine while trying to open them up. I had to buy a new plastic piece for it for about $30. But the rears are just normal LED's stuck into a piece of plastic by a robot most likely, so you just can't have access to it. If you really try to open it up you risk damaging the piece. So I just left it the way it is for the back.
