Thumping sound out of right rear wheel
Whenever I drive over a bump, it makes a thumping noise from right rear wheel area. Is it a blown shock? 2004 LS 430

When ever I hit a small bump it feels like right rear suspension is bottoming out. Could it be the strut and or a broken spring?

hahaha. Very funny. That would mean actually bundling up and going into the garage and laying on a cold floor trying to peek into nooks and crevices. Easier to come online and ask about a sound none of us can hear.
Sorry - donreilly! It is very much useless to ask the question you did because all of the responses can point to a different source for the noise. Do yourself a favor and jack up the car - go under it with a light and look around.

Hey Don, How are you ? I see you have a 2004, but I don't have any idea if regular shocks or the dreaded air shocks on the UL. also how many miles on the car? regular shocks seem to be ready to go about 100,000 miles as by that time I had replaced 3 out of 4. also right side takes more abuse as we can see and avoid stuff on the left side.
