Default Ball joints same for all years?

Are the lower ball joints the same for 01-06 or are they different from 01-03 and 04-06. I see different part numbers but they look pretty much same. Reason I ask is because there are more options to choose from for 01-03 and less for 04-06. Thanks

I don't have an answer on that but I want with Beck Arnley from RockAuto for 1/2 the price as OEM. They have been great.

I found some oem ball joints which were part number for 01-03. But they were at a good price. I wanted to check first. Might try it anyway. Where are the Beck arnley made?

I think Taiwan, I have a thread on here somewhere. It's been a year or two since I did them. You will need an alignment too. The build quality looked just like OEM when I did them.

There's different part numbers at the manufacturer level. I know because I had to return mine. I have an 04 LS and I had inadvertently purchased ball joints for an 01-03.

I can't tell you what the difference is or if they are interchangeable, but it's not something I want to experiment with when they're basically the same price.

I tend to think if it was really minor and interchangeable, they would instead just update the old part # to the new part # and just offer one ball joint for that generation of LS, not continue with 2 separate lines.
