Cool thanks for the video, yeah the tint was the first thing i did not sure how the previous owner had none on the car. And the second was a sunshade made to fit the ls windshield. My only worry with the conditioner is that I don't want the leather to get that shiny look to it. Congrats again on the new ride and good choice on keeping tthe ls.
The Lexol conditioner does not leave a shiny residue. I actually don't event bother in going back and cleaning the conditioner off. I just let it absorb. Works well for me.
Well, I have decided not to sell the LS at this point. I think I will come down with a case of LS Regret if I do. Mine is just too nice to get rid of. Decided to just give her a younger more energetic sister.... lol
You definitely made the right call. I just bought a new 2015 F150 SuperCrew a couple of months ago. I rides very nice for a truck and has a lot of amenities. But I never even once thought about trading in the 430 or selling it, and I am very glad I kept it. While I love the new truck and drive it most of the time, every time I do drive the 430, I'm still blown away by how great a car it is. Not worth selling it for the relativity small amount of money I would get for it.
Have an 01 LS430 Base. It came w/ lightly tinted windows which are great on a hot CA summer day. Plus it just looks cool. A past LS didn't have the tinting. On a hot day, I just baked. Full AC a must.
Feel the need to sell the LS and get another car? I've tried several times. Mine has perfect paint and interior. Posted the ad, someone showed up the first day. Drove it and loved it. Had the asking price in cash. LOL I was already having 2nd thoughts and proceeded to try and talk him out of it. He offered an additional 1k in cash. Told him I needed to smog it but it would be available the next day. Left me a small deposit. Called him the next day and said I'd changed my mind. He was cool. I mailed the deposit back. I've owned at least 20 cars (from vintage sports cars to trucks to high perf American). The LS really is the nicest car I've ever owned. I mean, take it out for a drive just to drive it? Has anyone heard of a Lexus LS430 addict's 12 step program? Just kidding (I think).
If I find a perfect reasonable mileage '05 ML in Mica/light interior, the sale might be possible. On the other hand, I may have two. Fortunately we also own a Honda Pilot for the real world stuff.
lab beautiful car, wasn't the car hit and painted?
if so 14 is a little much probably around 11 or 12 it would sell
The rear bumper was replaced. Someone backed into it in a parking lot. Would I take off 2 grand with an OEM bumper and perfect paint job? No way. But then again I am no longer selling the car.
