LS430 2001 Transmission on Reverse problem

LS430 2001 Transmission on Reverse problem
Hi all,
I have a problem with my LS430 while putting the gear on R position when the engine is cold the car doesn't move backward ..I have to wait around half hour to engage the gear OR I have to accelerate at 4K RPM ,then the car will move slowly ..Sometimes I hear "click" sound which means the gear Reverse is engaged and the car moves normally....
I'm told it might be transmission sensors which are inside the transmission above Gear filter and had happened with another "LS460".
Any Idea?? any such problem happened with some of you??
I plan to replace the transmission ,but I'm afraid it's only Sensors issue !!!
