New ls430 owner
Whats up everyone just wanted to say thanks for all the helpful info on this site i just recently bought an 06 ls430 with (get ready) 39k miles. Love everything about the car very comfortable and quiet. Might want to do a little suspension work but thats about it. Any helpful info on a little more of an aggressive/firm ride would be great. Car does not have air suspension. Thanks in advance!
There are several online places listed in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...tanvandam.html
MyLParts is a Club Lexus vendor sponsor and offers a discount: http://www.mylparts.com/
Personally, I would try to negotiate a standing discount (to match online prices) with your local Lexus dealer Parts Manager. That's what I have done.

Depends on what you really want to do with the suspension.
I think BC Coilovers with the added + Swift springs are pretty darn close to the comfortability of the stock suspension. But it makes a world of a difference for the handling of the car.
They run around $1200. Circuit Motor Sports are a vendor here on the site. And they have an amazing support team.

Great thanks for the responses guys, Ive been thinking of coil overs just wasnt sure if the ride quality would be compromised at all. I will definitely be looking into both of these options.

I have another quick question do to the age and low miles on the car that has been maintained at the same lexus dealer it was bought at up until i bought it. Should I maintenance it off of miles or age? I have read numerous responses on this and im leaning towards miles but seems like a 50/50 mix on the answers. Sorry not to open a can of worms but what do you guys think?
If you lived in PR or HI age would be more of a factor about the timing belt because of the climate. They still rarely fail. I would not worry about it. Mileage really is more a major factor and this has been shown in the LS400. There are example of people going over 200k on the same belt. Probably out of ignorance. That's awesome you found one with such low mileage. Congratulations.
Thanks lavrish! i was leaning towards that, so cal usually does have ideal temps. Now i just need to find a shop that is decent for future major maintenance. Im a diyer, love wrenching on cars but certain things are best left to the pros especially on a daily driver (for now).
