Default Changing out Radar Cruise Control

I was wondering if anyone has experience changing out the radar cruise. I had a 2002 LS Custom Luxury and the radar cruise surprisingly wasn't broken after all these years. The transmission went on that car and I purchased a 2002 Ultra Luxury in which the radar cruise doesn't work. I'm selling the Custom Luxury to my mechanic and if it's an easy process, I'd love to swap the units.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Why didn't you just purchase a low mileage used transmission? Or did you have other issues?

I would think it would be easy to get the radar box out. There is a lot of room once you remove the lower engine cover

I'd try to isolate specifically why the radar cruise doesn't work before swapping parts and hoping.

You can remove the working Radar by removing the front bumper and then just unplugging the cable going to the car and swap it on your new vehicle. Easy process.

Missed that feature on a 1,200 mile trip to Cali. + these modules aren't exactly cheap.
