Nagisa RCA - personal experiences?
So I already ordered the Nagisa RCAs, because I want the front wheels to shift forward a bit. A little added camber would't be so bad I suppose. But this is the first time I'm hearing about the decrease in the offset. A quote from the parallel thread:
What does this mean exactly?
Wheels sink in more because of the added camber?
Seeing that the offset is already negative, decreasing it will make it even more negative?
Or decreasing the absolute value of the offset will make the wheels stick out more?

Anyone who had Nagisa RCAs installed, please outline the perceived effects briefly.
Thanks!

hey Jackie!
I have the RCA's installed (not figs but similar ones) and they are caster correcting and adds camber.
but im not sure about decreasing the effect offset since the nagisa site doesnt say anything about that.
here some pics from when i installed the RCA: this is with no RCA but figs upper arm

this is with the RCA installed

looking from the side

hope that kinda helps.

This will depend on your wheel/tire combo. Reason I say this is due to the length of the stock spindle/knuckle. The stock spindle/knuckle is at a length where if your wheel is the size where the top ball joint sticks up past the wheel, when you effectively lengthen the lower arm to increase negative camber you are pushing the wheel out also.
LiCelsior, thanks for the answer, and the quality photographs - I can see the difference in the way the wheel sits with RCA.
HiloDB1, I appreciate your answer - it makes sense that you have to lenghten the lower arm to increase the camber!
Now I have a better understanding of the RCAs!
Waiting on a few more parts, will post pictures on coils and RCAs soon!
Cheers!
