2001 LS430 Transmission Dipstick?

My 2001 LS430 doesn't seem to have a transmission dipstick, and the owners manual makes no mention of it.

This disagrees with every thread I can find - any ideas?

If it's a 2001 that is stock it definitely has a dip stick. It was not until 2004 that Lexus went with the "sealed" transmission.

Its located on the drivers side between the engine cover and side covers. You dont see it because it is pushed in deeper that an oil dipstik. Its also red in color.
