Default Getting back on the forum...

Hello, everyone!

I haven't been on this forum in years. I've been distracted by another vehicle (2002 AM General H1) that I intend to sell.
I want to get my 2001 LS430 up to spec. I bought it in '08 with around 70K miles on it. It now has about 198K miles, most of it being highway miles. I want to put at least another 100K miles on it, for bragging rights, if not for sheer efficiency!

The drivetrain seems to run well, but there are a few other things that need to be addressed:
1) The suspension seems a little noisy when I go over relatively small bumps, even though I had the front struts and L front tie rod end changed recently. I noticed when my LS was 'on the rack' at the local lube center, that the parts of the suspension that are covered by rubber boots, had an oily coating, maybe leaking?
2) Since I had a 'check engine' light come on recently, I had them check that while I was there. The tech stated that the codes were: P0440, P0441, P0446, indicating 'Evaporative Cooler". Unfortunately, when I left the lube center, the 'VSC off' light was on, and I can't get it to turn off by pushing the button on the console. They did the same thing the last time I had them check a code on my LS; I should have known better!
3) My front bumper cover is pitted from so much highway mileage, and got torn from the bumper slightly when my sweet little wife pulled away from the garage door some time ago. I was able to re-align it OK, but it's just not right. I want to replace it, but the online discount parts supplier that I use won't ship something that size. I'll have to pay retail at the local dealer unless someone could suggest another source.
Due to the highway use, there's a lot of pitting on the hood. I'd like to repaint it, and get a clear protectant applied, but I can't remember the name of the product.
The windshield is also showing a lot of fine pitting, for the same reasons. Other than replacing it, is there some sort of treatment that can be applied??
4) The lid on my console compartment has a broken latch. I don't have a clue how to disassemble it or how to find replacement part.

After I get the obvious mechanical issues addressed, it'll be due for a serious deep cleaning and detail work!

I'm sure there will be a few other things to address in the future, but any help with these items would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!!!

I received this part from Amazon, but unfortunately, it was way too small for the LS430!
Just a head's-up for any future buyers...
