Bad Height Sensor or Replace Air Suspension?
#17
Once you install steel spring suspension the height sensors cease any real functionality. They are left in place for the sole purpose of keeping the Air Suspension ECU from thinking there is a problem with the air suspension (which you removed) and lighting your dash with a MIL light. If you don't mind having a MIL light on the dash you can remove them.

thanks,
slowly I am getting somewhere
I read that quite a few owners have faulty heightsensors; So, If I leave the sensors in place (no light) but they malfunction, I get a light, unless I buy and install functioning sensors that will do nothing but the light on the dash is not on

the local dealership is absolutely no help and I have not found a professional tech who can do the work I want - that's why the many questions
The only person who is willing has not done anything like it before and he has all the questions that I cannot answer to him

it's not the lack of mechanics
finding one who can do a Lexus LS430 Ultra is the problem.
Sure, they experiment with it and "will see what I can do" but at $110/hr this is not economical.
unfortunately the oilwell in the backyard dried up

lexus LS430 UL
I know this is a old post but I have a Lexus LS 430 UL. When I bought the car the guy told me it need struts due to the car being so low.(touching all tires) when I start the car the pump runs continuously but the car doesn’t lift at all. I can’t move it because of how low it sits. Where do I start?! I don’t wanna spend where I don’t have to. Please help!!
