Not sure if anyone subscribes to the Lexus publication Beyond, but I received the 5th issue yesterday and it's covering the 25th anniversary of the LS (and Lexus for that matter...)

Neat articles and lots of info about the LS, RX the Logo and the company itself.

I honestly feel these cars must've been in research years before 1989, longevity is a hard thing to make, Lexus creates that and in style.

 

The F1(LS) project started around 1982 or so. So yes it took a while to develop a revolutionary car like this.
