Default Keys stolen, no spare, now what??

Long story short my bad was stolen with te only set of keys I have. I have no way to get inside my car. Has anyone been able to get a set of keys made and programmed without going through the dealer. When I did speak to the dealer it requires a tow and cost of keys along with program charge, ending up at a grand total of about 600-700. Needless to say my BMW key was only 300 to replace programmed for free. The one thing BMW is cheaper about lol. Well anyways any help would be great. I read post about addin a key but I have no master key and may have one key blade to open the door but no FOB.

Sorry for your mishap. What year is your car? I believe you can program your key if 01-03. If 04-06 then dealer is only way. You. might have to fork over the money off it is the only option. They would probably program a new code so the thief cant have access to your car. Good luck in getting a new key though.

My car is a 2002 so that's good news. From what I'm reading If I find the blade and open my car I can program it but not sure if I need a master key. Lucky for me the keys were stolen while I was on a job far and the car is sold and I was gonna turn over the keys so now I'm stuck.

Keys can be made via your vin number. I think Sewell does this and maybe your local Lexus dealer. Call them tomorrow morning. Don't forget to call around and negotiate.

To program new keys you will need a master key. Since you have none this is not an option. You will need to bring it to the dealer to see if they can re-seed the ecu and program new keys.

Thanks for the help. I'll call swell in the morning maybe they can offer a better price. I did find the key it self but the fob is missing and the reason it was at home in the first place.
I'll also Try that link u sent me. Since I can now get into my car without busting abythhng up. I think Longo Lexus price was a little steep. I wasn't aware j could negotiate a key service but I'll give swell a shot since I do like them.
Thanks for the help guys. It's been a stressful week.

Just called A-1 mobile unfortunately our make doesn't allow for it to be reflashed. Looks like towing to a dealer is my only option as of now.

I recently had a spare key made by Sewell Lexus using my VIN #. I programmed the key using Techstream, but most knowledgeable Locksmiths in your area should be able to make one.

Sewell should be able to make one. I think they were $80 for an SC300 key. The 02 LS should be around that price. Make sure you tie your Club Lexus account with your Sewell account for a discount.

2002 LS 430, no key

Your car is eligible to be re flashed (saves you the trouble of getting a brand new ECU). Since you have no master key to be made from, it would need to be re flashed. Most dealerships charge one hour labor (Avg: $120 give or take 10 bucks) and the cost of a new key. Cost of new Key varies my local dealership charges $153.00 for a new key. So the total is 1 hour labor and one new key. Ranges from $270 - $300

Thanks guys!

I found a local guy that can reflash a key I bought on flea bay for 80 bucks and looks like everyone around me is charging about 200 to reflash.

I didn't know I could use clublexus discoun at swell t!! But they were the most helpful of all the dealers I talked to and very knowledgable unlike most.

The advice given helped so much. I was lost for a min but looks like I'll have things right in a day.
