Roadways are designed to shed water to the sides, and most uneven surfaces and spot holes are also found near the sides of the road. As such, suspension components on the passenger-side tend to wear out faster. In your case, the problem occurs on the driver-side and odds are, your passenger-side bearing will soon follow.

You can also check out Post #13 above for a link to a DIY I did years ago. I went with the Koyo brand bearings, which is OEM. Good luck.

Yeap I'm due to be doing the left rear bearing in mine, its been noisy ever since I bought the thing and I've done about 6000 miles or so in it since then, so dunno how much longer it will last, especially if I'm going to be entering burnout comps in it
