Angry RIP to Lisa, My 06 LS430 ML

Long story short, I'm 99% sure she is totaled. She saved my life tho, RIP Lisa.

Swerved to avoid a head on collision after being cut off, rear end fishtailed coming out of the sudden swerve. I'm not sure if she slid on gravel or because I had just left the carwash a few minutes before, either way I'm sure if I had been driving my Colorado I wouldn't be typing this.

Foolishly I was not wearing my seatbelt, I broke the windshield with my head and right hand, broke the steering wheel & armrest. I'm sure the airbag threw me back into my seat. Cab of the car held up perfect, door opened 100% and she even still turned on afterwards. Crash was @ approximately 50 mph.

I'm lost as of what to do now, I would love to find another just like her or a white UL with saddle interior... having a hard time locating any.

Ouch! At least you're alive. Things can be replaced, but people can't.

That beauty really saved your life, which is awesome and exactly what it should do. So sorry to see the damage to it, but glad you're ok and unharmed. Thank God. Tom

So sorry to see / hear ... but oh what a blessing that the LS was a tank for you.

You will find a LS UL ... be patient. Settle for a CL if necessary. With spring around the corner, trade-ins are coming.

I'm glad yo hear you're OK and well enough to even post this. You should be glad, I'm sure a wreck like that in my tinny Honda fit would not have faired so well.

I ended up smashing into the side of a Tahoe, the gentleman saw the whole incident and tried his best to move out the way but with traffic I was bound to hit something. I have a sprained left ankle and a baseball sized knot on my head & tons of bruising all over ... That airbag is a tough bugger lol. I'll post pix tomorrow.

I'm glad you're okay!

I feel your pain in searching for the right LS. I'm in the market and looking at the entire lower 48 and haven't found what I'm looking for. I guess I'll race you for it!
