Question In tight turns

I have noticed sometimes in tight turns that it feels like my LS is going to tip over and I can feel the front tires slipping as i'm completing the turn. I really notice it like when I make a u-turn. I have 18" inch OEM Lexus wheels with Dunlop tires that came with the car. I plan on changing the tires to my preferred tires by Michelin MXV's. My question is has anyone else experienced this with your car?

Could it be in need of a wheel alignment? Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

I had that feeling and I just changed my outter tie rods and ball joints and no more problem. I don't know which one solved the problem exactly.

I'll have to have my mechanic check those. Thanks.

Worn lower ball joints have extra "play" will cause that. You'd also likely hear a knock going over railroad tracks.

I have the same thing happen on very very tight u turns on stock 18s with like New Dunlop s. Car was just inspected and no issues found so keep us updated what you find. My car drives perfect in all other driving so I haven't thought much about it.

Mine has been acting like this, since new. It's like 1 to 5 MPH under-steering condition.

I believe it is related to under steer. I had the car looked over and everything is solid as can be per the final inspection. Must be how the suspension is designed by Lexus. Thanks.

Glad to hear. No issues were found with mine either so must be a factory condition.

I somewhat had this condition before i had my LCA bushings replaced. Not so much now that the new parts are installed. Very little to no tip-over condition.

Replace front lower ball joints and re-align to get rid of this condition.
