Hi Guys, I just purchased a 2001 LS430 and am looking to do 2 things.
1) Make the car a little bit louder. I don't want it to be really loud. All i want is a slight exhaust note. Can I do this easily by say removing the CAT's or something like that?
2) I want to lower it slightly. The car is spring not airbag. Looking to just change out the springs without degrading the ride quality.
For number 1 you don't want to remove the CAT, you can remove the resonator and I think that will give you a better exhaust sound.
Take it to a muffler shop and they can give you a better suggestion.
Here she is Spent 4.5 hours polishing it. What a mission. Can't wait to get some nicer wheels for it. Cheers for the advice. Will go and talk to an exhaust shop
It took me a few minutes to notice - he's in New Zealand. Notice the wheel on the right too.
I'm curious, what does a 2001 LS430 go for in the New Zealand Dollar? Auckland?
