Default Problems Starting Car: Please Help

So for the last few weeks when I go to crank my ls430 the car starts and immediately shuts back off again. When I crank it the second time everything is fine. Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be.

It is an '05 ls430 with 123k on it. tb done, waterpump done, oil changed every 5k.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Its my baby. I want her to stay around for years to come.

Have you done anything recently that would cause the ECU to be in defense? Something to consider. Sorry I can't just give you a simple answer... there's just so many possibilities.

Thanks guys. Changing the plugs this weekend.

I haven't done anything to cause the ecu to act up.

Thank you again.

Just guessing here.. only other thing that springs to mind would be fuel pump or fuel pump relay. The relay starts the fuel pump running early as you move the key from off to start position. So if the relay is starting to stick or function intermittently you may not have enough pressure built into fuel line to keep the motor running after initial start.

dont forget to clean the throttle body. dont spray it in the t/b just spray it on a tooth brush after you cleaned it with a rag.spray it on a rag ,make shore you use a dry rag to finish up with.then disconnect the battery for 15 minutes the take it for a drive.may run a little rough for a minute or two as the ecu does a relearn.you will not believe the dirt thats in there if its never been done.
