Advice on purchase - yea I know, everyone loves these threads.
What we can see via Lexus Drivers is not itemized. You will need to have a dealer look it up for you.
Your post caused me to access my Lexus service record. I recently had my 90K service done, which included timing belt and water pump replacement. The Lexus service record did not include water pump, but did include timing belt. I then checked my Lexus dealer receipt. It listed the timing belt and had the water pump listed as a sub element which was also changed. Perhaps this explains what you are seeing on your records also.
Did the dealer provide you with a copy of the actual service receipt, or did it just mirror the Lexus service record?

Thanks, about to purchase soon.
Interesting, the Lexus dealer there changed the timing belt but didn't do anything on the water pump. My mechanic confirms that as well. He said keep driving until the water pump leak, and then the car need to do the whole timing belt/water pump change again
. You guy have any idea how long the water pump can last?
He also found some moisture on transmission pan and dirty brake fluid and suggest transmission service soon. Other than that, the car is in great condition, has great dealership service record.
Btw, how many keys usually come with this car? The owner tells me he has only 1 master key and 1 valet key (only the master key can work with the smart access system, not the valet key). Sounds weird.
PS: warminwisc: if you can send the list to my email that would be great: tutor.cp@gmail.com. Thanks

I know this is older now, but I didn't want to straight up disappear. I didn't purchase the car in my orginal post, and the dealer sat on it for another month....calling me every 3 days to see if I was still interested. Frankly, he ran me off at that point.
That being said, I didn't 100% give up, and have still been casually looking for one. I did notice an 04 UL with the 2 tone interior on CL the other day, and might take a looksy.

This has been said before in threads but bears repeating for new buyers. Modern keys and smart keys are really very cool but it is completely shocking what they can cost. Also cars with incomplete sets of keys make it even more costly to replace keys.
If at all possible try to get two keys for the LS (not including the valet key). Making a third key when you already have two keys is fairly easy and not too expensive.
If you only have one key it is a really good idea to get a backup key as soon as possible. The keys are expensive to replace and if you have one key the cost to create another key goes up significantly.
But if you only have one key and you lose your only key, the replacement bill for keys and reprogramming will be borderline astronomical. This is true on the LS and for most modern cars. Buyer beware. The seller will never tell you how expensive new keys are if they only have one key. Make the seller get a second working key for you before you buy any used car.
btw the seller is happy if you are naive enough to not insist on having the second key provided. They are smart enough to know that they can always sell extra keys on ebay for a nice no cost extra profit.
