What is best oil for 2001 ls430

 

I assume you are referring to Engine Oil.
I use 5w30 Mobil 1 Full Synthetic

 

I agree, and wouldn't use anything else.

 

I use Bertolli extra virgin olive oil...but Mobil 1 when I have to...

 

the engine is so bulletproof the key point is "always clean 5w30"

 

hi welcome to the board, multiple threads mobil 1 extended performance from walmart, in 5 qt jugs,
has 2x the amount of synflo than mobil 1 and better oil, in my experience the mobil1 in my ls400 broke down after 5k not the extended performance, just dont get caught up in the 100 of replies about oils on the thread most important factor if you choose mobil 1 or extended performance is change it every 7500 -8500 miles unless your using a synthetic oil filter, with a standard toyota filter and changing the oil every 7500 you will have a motor that lasts a lifetime,, enjoy your car
