The steering wheel on my 2002 LS430 suddenly stopped moving up when removing the key from the ignition. Its intermittent. Works sometimes and doesn't at other times. Everything works great when using the **** on the side of the steering column. Is this a sign that the motor is going bad??

Try changing the battery of the remote. Maybe that'll help. I don't think the motor is going bad.
Also, check the fuse box for any burnt fuses.
