Keeping in mined that it was of the 1st system used in car seats, it was improved over time. The second thing if you have a 06 that will be 9 year old, taking into consideration the degradation f the foame in the seat, blower moter, & dust/dirt acumelating in the passages that will reduce the efficiency of the system.
I live wher the temps reached 60 c this summer. And still happy with what I have.

Yes, Fixman, except for the fact that my wife's 10-year-old 2006 ES330 has ventilated front seats that blow noticeably cooler and more forcefully than any other car I have been in. Her ventilated seats can be felt through jeans and is considerably more effective than our 2006 LS430 at keeping you cool and dry. However, I do rate the LS430 ventilated seats as being stronger than the 2007 and 2009 LS460 models I test drove. On the particular LS460 models I sampled the ventilated seats were anemic and rather pointless.
