Yep - I always run whatever is listed on the driver's doorjamb. Maybe 1 lb more.

How do they handle compair to the Dunlap SP5000M's? My car is a 2006 LS430 with 28,000 miles time to change tire's I dont know which direction to go stick with OEM or go with the Primacy MXV4's. I would think Lexus would put the best tires on the car. I have 245/45/18 tires.

I personally think the Dunlop's are junk and just don't last very long.

In my experience, the tires that come stock are usually whatever tire company offered the best price, it's rare for a car company to include top notch tires right off the showroom floor.

I've always had extremely good luck with Michelin tires, and I tend to think in the long run, they actually save you money because they usually last so much longer.

I agree.... they don't always put the 'best' tires on from the factory. I have Michelins on my 02 and the ride is incredibly smooth and they are wearing well. I will stick with the Michelins...

Only Ferraris and a few others come with really good tires from the factory. The Primacy are far beyond the stock LS tires in every respect and I'm sure there are other tires out there for which the same is true.
