Why does it seem Ebay pictures are better
Greetings everyone,
I'm still continuing my search for my first LS and was wondering why does it seem that the photographs of various LS's for sale are more descriptive on Ebay than on other sites like Autotrader or CarGurus. I realize that I would need to check out the car in person but that can get pretty expensive based on where the car is located from where I reside. Thanks.
Here are some examples just for comparison:
Ebay listing:

Autotrader listing:
http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...archRadius=300
CarGurus listing:
http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used-...sting=57577059

Like bootnylee said, it depends on who is selling the car. I've seen some people take high quality photos of their cars and other people who either don't bother to post pictures or use extremely poor quality pictures. You also get people who may not have a decent camera laying around so they use a cell phone to take the pictures.
From my experience the cars with terrible pictures were the cars I should've avoided. Usually it was a shady dealership that used blurry pictures to hide the fact that the car looked/ran like crap.
