Default Life after LS430 UL Package...?

Hi all,
I just picked up a 2004 LS430 with the Ultra Luxury package. Like many of you that own one of these, I'm blown away and can't imagine an interior nicer than this. I think it might be a problem driving another car after this. Soooo...what else compares? What are you driving (or planning on driving after this)? I just can't see too many other cars where every possible surface is covered in so much leather and wood...or that suede headliner! Ok, maybe this is common for a Bentley or a Maybach, but I just don't see myself in one of those...nor parking one of those on my street!
Thanks!

I think the real mark of a car is how long you have it before you start thinking about one of the new cars you see on the road. I have yet to see anything that makes me even think about "upgrading" from my 04 UL!

Just get another LS! Maybe the LS460? I like the new S Classes. They are pretty nice.

Someone here has "LS = spoiled forever" on their signature and I couldn't agree more! I just don't see anything else on the road that compares. Even the newer 460 feels like a step down in luxury compared to this. Got 49K on my 2004....I guess it'll be a few more years before I drive it into the ground!

It's hard for me to ride in other cars after having an UL LS430. I don't even like driving my SC300 anymore because it seems so inferior and I used to love driving it. None of my friends or family members own a car that can touch my LS either.

The only thing I could see as a replacement for the LS would be an S-Class or a 7 Series.

I've never owned an S-Class, but not that long ago, I drove an older 750iL for a few months. Sure, it may have had that massive V12 engine, but the interior was nowhere near as close as the LS430!

I'd take a 7 series only if were an 01 with the long wheelbase or the current 750Li. I just really like the way they look. In my opinion the 7 series after the E38 was inferior to the LS430 in every way except for the V12.

Despite being extremely unreliable I prefer the S-Class over the LS. The S600 and S65 are amazing cars. They're just way too expensive to maintain.

I have own 7 series and s class and believe me the German cars are more about the name . I just bought my ls and it was a debate from a 05 750 Li a s600 v12 a a6 4.2 . The end of the day I walk out with the ls key and thought about all the money I am saving in the long run . These three other car was unbelievable. Pound for pound the lex does everything that I needed better and I have had great, experience owning Lexus before . I have own a few luxury sedan in the past and never thought about Lexus but it changed my mind when I drove the ls .

the LS460L with Exec or Rear Seat upgrade would be equivalent I think.
Exec would have more leather trim around the cabin to feel more high end.

LS sure is nice, the 05-06 A8's with the Bang and Olefson pkg are pretty nice also. There are alot of nice cars out there now if ya got the dough, German car handle real nice, quality is improved, warrantees reasonable. For the price/league/years we are talking about now LS is hard to beat.

biggest problem of ls430 ownership........never finding another car to come close in quality and fit and finish. Don't bother looking!

I have the base level LS - when I bought it I didn't even realize there were more luxurious trim levels.

If I wanted to spend a lot more money and get something else, I'd look at the big Audi sedan or a Jaguar. I'd never own a Mercedes or BMW because they are not comfortable enough for me.

That's a shame the German ones aren't all they're cracked up to be. I really wanted an 04-06 S600 or an 01 750iL, but ended up going with the LS430.
