Anybody ever do a write up removing the headliner off the LS430? I tried searching but no luck what so ever.

 

Ive taken mine off but did not document how.

 

Any trim piece that needs to be removed before dropping the headliner? By the looks of it i'm guessing the pillar piece should come off before the headliner drops

 

All the pillar pieces need to come off. Also all the mirrors, visors, and dome lights.

 

i did it back then during the jdm celsior sunroof swap.

basically everything need to come off. from a pillar, b pillar top and bottom, and remove both rear seats to get access to c pillar. then take off the front dome light housing, 2 sun visor, 2 vanity light rear, 2 ac vent/light combo on each side.

 

What's the difference between the LS430 sunroof and Celsior sunroof?

 

one is etched "lexus" and the other is etched "toyota"

 

Just the glass? You pretty much have a LHD Celsior now.
