Default ls430 efi ems tunning options

Are there any options out there? I would hate to think that the people slapped on the twin turbo setup on the ls430 used an fmu..piggy back ems

it would be nice if there was a way to fine tune efi..chip..these cars. Especially those with bolt ons.

you joking, right? this is a 'scam device'... it just shorts out your IAT and/or MAF via resistor worth 50c. Mileage will down drastically and it's not safe for th engine. This is NOT chiptuning.

lol this x10000

OP: no "chip" options and reflashing isn't an option since the toyota ECM's have never been cracked. Your only options are either piggybacks (Apex'i SAFC Neo and AEM F/IC are popular) or full standalone EMS (AEM series 2/3, motec, haltech, pectel if you're baller, etc...)

i looked up gf chips...they claim to work well...but i was taught to always go with EMS if the option is available.

i know aem makes plug and play version for hondas and others..do they make the same for the ls430?

I am not familiar with pectel..but i've seen the others mentioned..

thx

good deal

With ems you will have one majestic monster.

how is the ems install going? does aem offer a pnp version? or is wiring a daunting task?

will going ems eliminate any factory feature in the car? I ask because I hear the ls430 computer handles plenty of task

cheers

its not even close to being done. Wiring isnt a big issue since there is no swap going on. There is no plug and play but the supra plugs should be almost the same. Honestly i could care less about factory features. Car is going to be a highway car and later on turn into a show car when funds allow. Theres a bunch of different ems's that will run a 3uz. Car will also be getting a r154. I also might do a big single turbo instead of twins. This car is my first car i got. I love this car to death. Any other car i sit in i always say what is this piece of ****. I think the only reason there is no aftermarket for this car is because everyone is scared to touch a lexus. I'm not one of them

...perhaps nobody 'touches' lexus, because it's just good as it is.... and please, do not love this car 'to death'.

Red face

Perhaps old geezers shouldn't click on a link with EMS in the title and then complain to why people are touching Lexus's. These cars have a bunch of potential why not let those horses free? You don't want to touch your Lexus but people do that's why there asking if anything is out. Perhaps that was the point of this thread? Sorry for getting off track it's just the reason for no aftermarket is people Iike you. Who doesn't want something to be better than it is.
