Default ls 430 grill repairs

anyone know how to fix chips and on a 2006 LS430 grill billett? the dealer wants over $400 to replace it. What's a $60,00 car doing with a plastic painted grill insert? can you paint those things?

Agree - there is a supplier located in DFW area that sells LS430 grills on ebay - very good quality and less than $100.

I wanted to know the same thing as well. looking for the paint code, if one exists.

I purchased the black chrome grill from the ebay Dallas seller about a year ago. Although it looked good for a couple months, the thin plastic began to varnish and lost its shine. maybe because I park in the sun everyday. So thinking about putting my OEM grill back on.

Can you PLEASE post a pic of this grill on your car? I think this would look sick on my black on black LS. Just as an accent without calling too much attention to itself. I like! It would make the LS look a little more aggressive.

EDIT: Screw it- ordered one. For the money, if i don't like it, someone here will. I think it's going to look pretty nice, especially on my black LS. I got the one that preserves the emblem.

Jimbosr1-

Did you get the one with the emblem preserved, or the emblem shaved? I went with the one that preserves the emblem, just want a slightly different look, that makes it look a little sportier.

I'm going to put some zaino z5 sealant on it.

keep it waxed and you will have no fading from the sun.use detail spray to remove bug guts and such.

I had my replacement black chrome grill (no badge) on the car for 2 years and it still looked brand new. I recently uninstalled it and went back to the stock chrome oem grill with the Lexus badge.
