engine info

I have a 2001 LS430. I figured it is 4.3 liter motor.
Since the Lexus is the top of the Toyota lineup are there other models of the Toyota that share the same motor?

Toyota builds on a few styles of motors. I think the 4.3 V8 was also used in several Toyota and Lexus SUV/trucks at the time.

Pretty sure anything else that ended with 430 used the same engine. The ones I can think of are the SC430 and GS430

The LS430 engine designation is "3UZ-FE". There is a list of cars using this engine at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_UZ_engine#3UZ-FE

If my memory is correct, the 4.3 was never in a Toyota model. The Tundra and LandCruiser came with the 4.7 V8, then the 5.7. The 4.7 will go down as one of the most bullet proof engine Toyota has ever produced. Minus the 18, 20 and 22R engines.

The 3UZ-FE only came in the SC430, LS430, and GS430.

There is also the 1UZ-FE from the SC400, LS400, and GS400, as well as the 2UZ-FE from various Toyota trucks.
