Hey guys Is the dealer hosing me.. I was running hot near the red then used heat to cool the engine off.. So I get thermstat replaced then I get it back he says it was running ok in 30 min i'm running hot. Then I see radiator flud gushing out when parked take it right back then he says leak in radiator.. he replaces and said good to go and ran the engine. I get it back today and 15 minlater with ac going I starts to run hot near red.. i am at a loss what to do?

You dont mention that the radiator had a hole in it the first time you brought it in for the stat. My guess is that they replaced the stat and didnt bleed system properly and it might have blown the radiator (if that was even blown). Bleeding takes a little time but its not too difficult.
1. Fill the system then start the car and get it to normal operating temp with cap off.
2. Set the heat on high and hot and rev enging to 1500 - 2,000 rpm for a few minutes (maybe 3-5) You may see bubbles or "burping" coming out every now and them
3. Turn off the car, top off the radiator and fill the reservoir and let it fully cool. Make sure you have enough fluid in the reservoir because as the motor cools it draws the coolent in from the reservoir. You may have to repeat this but I have never failed with this method.
I havent had to do it yet on my LS so I'm not sure if there's a bleeder screw located somewhere. Maybe someone will chime in.

I would park it with the radiator higher then the rest of the car so the air will come out easier and then follow Brewmyown's instructions. I park in our driveway which is sloped and burp the vehicles front end up.

Hardnett, if this does work check your reservoir the next few days (before staring when fully cooled) and note the coolant level. Add if needed.

Thanks John I forgot to mention that. I usually will park it on an incline or take a floor jack and raise the front of the car slightly.
