I need a new sub in my 04' now too. But now I leery of the Kicker subs, since one of you posted that it blew out again after just year. There's a lot of other choices for 8 inchers for just a little more money on the Hi-Fi Sound site. One called the Power Bass XL-84 Bulletproof Reliable for $79.

What is the maximum DEPTH the sub enclosure will allow in the 04 LS? The 8 inch Power Bass sub is 4.4 inches deep, will it fit?

 

I was under the impression that the impedance on the 04' ML subs was 4 OHMS. Someone said on this thread it is 12-14 OHMS. So what exactly is it?
