I LOVE my black interior and the silver exterior. I must admit that the pics didn't impress me but when I saw it in person, WOW..............pics don't do justice to how it "pops" in person.

The rear seat cooling is only there on the UL, mine only has heated seats in the rear.

As for the steering wheel in the OP, thats been replaced from another car, its not faded, waxed, nothing. Its the wrong wheel.

That is not true. Mine is the same way. Lexus messed up and did not match them up properly. I saw several cars and then gave up worrying about it...Sort of.

The wheel has most definitely been replaced. It is from a car with the yellowish Birds eye maple. The rest of the car is the darker, slightly orange looking walnut. I own a 2004 with the Walnut trim and the steering wheel matches perfectly. I also have an extra LS430 steering wheel with the birds eye maple trim that i wanted to put into my 2000 LS400 Platinum with matching wood trim. Thus, the wheel is definitely not original to that car. OP, please be careful if you are wanting to purchase that vehicle.

Good luck!

Sorry but Lexus just doesnt mess up like that, and especially not on their flagship car. Its Lexus were talking about here, not Hyundai from 20 years ago. Without seeing the other cars youre referring to, I cant comment on them, but on this one I can.

+1 I also have an 04 with black interior and walnut, and the wheel still matches perfectly (95k+ miles). That one has been replaced with a maple wheel, it is NOT the original wheel nor is it faded. Its just the wrong wheel.

Nothing beats black on black.

While it does get warm here in South Florida, mine is tinted, I use a windshield sun deflector, and I keep a small microfiber cloth in the car that I drape over the wheel in the summer to keep it from cracking any more.

The steering wheels should match the wood. Like someone else said, it's silly to think Lexus would overlook this--they didn't leave anything else out. That would drive me crazy personally. I would be skeptical.
