Help removing driver side carpet to replace O2 sensor
Can anybody help me with removing the carpet on my drivers side center console to replace the O2 sensor?
Pilotsmith put out a great DIY on it and I have 3 of the 4 done, but for the life of me I can't get my carpet away from the center console on the drivers side.
If I pull on it any harder I fear I'm going to rip it, and I really don't want to cut it. Pulling my hair out here as I really don't want to have to take apart the center console if there is an easier way.
Yeah these things as well as the LS460 are a total PITA to change the rear O2 sensors as the plug runs into the cabin and plugs into the harness right on the tunnel of the center console. The easiest way I believe is to try your best and roll the carpet from under the gas and brake pedal and try and work it back towards the seat to get to the plug. I am a lexus tech is the reason I'm trying to help. Been so long since I've done a 430 so I'm a little rusty on pulling the carpet back.
