Hey guys for about a week now I've been hearing a creaking sound when turning my steering wheel left and right. I cut the car off and on so the wheel would retract and protract to see if I noticed those creaking sounds, but it only happen when driving the vehicle and turning the steering wheel… just wondering if anyone have a idea what it could be or heard of this issue before if so can u plz respond

Grease the U-Joint right above where the steering shaft comes through the floor.

The sound is coming from the steering wheel, I just really hope it's nothing major because I'm not a DIY type of guy and I know the shop gonna charge

Not an LS, but should be very similar if not the same.

Use white lithium grease, either in a spray can or a tube. The U-Joint is below the brake pedal. If you look under there, you should see it.
