Cad, Such a generous offer, but to your defense this was all predicated on a 16-0 season. But....if you insist I will call us even if you guys beat NO and we don't have to play this years MVP who we just barely beat the first game of the year.
Well, that's not the way I see it, but OK. I'll keep the stuff boxed and ready to ship until the outcome of the Lions-Saints game.
A funny aside: I was out to eat last evening at one of my usual haunts and I was telling my usual waitress (who was wonderful dealing with my late wife) about going to Meijer earlier in the day and shopping for this bet. From across the restaurant, a lady turns around and says "Yeah, I was the first person in Meijer you asked and I had no idea where to find any Michigan products."
Another lady I asked in the Meijer deli started laughing and said that she could have helped you pick out stuff because she's from Wisconsin.

OK Cad I will PM ya, and send ya a care package myself of some Wisco viddles in good faith. Lions or whoever plays NO has to make interceptions and fumbles produce points, and kep em off the field as Brees will put it up. I was hopeful at half but nexy year lets see if we get a warminwisco game for a couple of tickets for ya.
Cad, Just opened the care package tonight, sorry the Pack let down and did not represent the north division well. You left out pictures of the special pretzels and mustard, yummee. Mt wife grabbed the chocalate covered cherries. I plan on having corn flakes in the AM on my way to the hill, breakfast of champions!. Nothing better than corn flakes and beer, CHEERS!

Those were a late addition. I stopped at a store called "Michigania" in downtown Lansing to see what they had. The lady there said these pretzels and mustard were featured on a program called "Best Things I Ever Ate".
I'm glad the package arrived intact. It's a shame I couldn't include the Garden Fresh Gourmet salsa as it required refrigeration. I'm on my second container of it since I bought the chips I sent you and will be picking up more tomorrow.
BTW, I went out to dinner this week with the first lady I spoke with when shopping for your goodies.
Cad, All is well, I am snacking on the dried cherries right now with our mini rex rabbit as we speak, "here Sammy". The Sanders went real well with the local custard, and I have to admit I scooped a spoonful or two out of the jar for a straight sugar tooth fix.
The chocolate covered cherries went fast with a teen in the house
Related to my LS, well we made some corn flake coated chicken which was delish and I took it to work for leftovers in my LS.
I wish the Sanders would have been on par with the 04 CL I checked out which I wrote about a week or so ago...people lie. As Alexus would utter I bet "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is" But it was a nice drive to the bluffs of the Mississippi Mark Twain country it was a perfect day for a late winter drive..
Keep an eye on the NFL sched and your mail box!! warm
Hey Warm, no bets on the Lions-Packers game tomorrow. LOL
Anyway, a few months after the game, that lady, the one I met when looking for those Michigan goods, texted me a pic of Meijer's new Michigan food aisle - a bit late. Oh, and we're starting to talk about marriage. Here's a pic from Kewpee's in Lansing.
I was worried the Pack was so beat up and the Lions so desperate....., but I am not worried about you my friend with such a cute "babe" at your side!! What an attractive couple!! Congratulations Cad you went thru a lot there for a while and deserve all the joy in the world!.
Hi all. I haven't been around much as I'm recoving from my Lexus addiction. Just wanted to let you know that this fine lady and I will be exchanging wedding vows in October at the same restaurant in the story. A buddy of mine from church is a retired jail chaplain and he'll officiate. It will probably be just the 4 of us (including the chaplain's wife) at dinner with the owners of the restaurant as witnesses. All the best to you.
All the best to you Cadman!! The stars in heaven are aligned and looking down on you smiling, guiding your way to happiness. A fine lady for a fine gentleman. This year is tight with a gold PKG and only 4 tickets for the Lions, but down the road if a road trip is in order my wifey and I know a sweet spot to take you and your loved one for dinner in GB. Warm You still at the same address?
