Thanks Team for the info. I have an 03 LS430 with 45K miles and I am concerned about the time factor on the belt. I will probably buy the timing belt kit and have it done. Any ideas on where to buy the parts at a discount online?
Thanks

When I purchased the parts a month ago, Sewell had the lowest prices (in comparison to local dealers). Make sure to link your sewell account to your cl account for better pricing.
I've heard good things about irontoad.com ( I think that's the website, maybe other members can chime in)

I remember thinking about the time factor with my mom's 2000 V6 Honda with 50,000 miles. I had the timing belt and pump changed last year and both looked newer than new. Of course, the psychological factor of feeling assured is sometimes worth the extra money.

I had my belt changed with just 75k on the clock because the dealer noted some dryness on the belts. They were 7 years old only. Lexus recommends 100k or 6 years I believe.... I trusted my dealer so I did it.
