'05 LS: 66k miles -> upcoming maintenance?
I recently had the coolant change, replaced both air filter, brake fluid, and pads changed. What else is lurking around the corner? Some items I've heard:
1. Power steering fluid flush
2. Transmission flush (75k)
3. Timing belt - 90k? The car is 6 years old now...is it better to get it replaced based on age or just wait until it hits the mileage?
What else?
Thanks.

If you want to save money you can do PS fluid yourself - search treads on PS drain and fill and you can see how to do it.
For an 05 the AT fluid is supposed to last lifetime but Lexus does not define lifetime anywhere. So different owners interpret that change interval differently - personally I will get the fluid drained and filled by Lexus at 60 k intervals. A new transmission cost apprx $6K so I will over maintain it a little to avoid a failure. I will ask Lexus dealer to do the drain and fill because there is no easy fill point on the 04-06 transmissions - totally stupid design.
In term of the timing belt, the Lexus guideline for TB replacement on LS430 is 7 years or 90k miles. The 7 years guideline assumes that the rubber belt is going to deteriorate via heat and oxidation with potential cracking/breaking just from age. My car is an 06 with 30k miles and is always garaged and driven pretty gently so I may push change interval to 8 years or so . I don't commute so I won't hit 90k until the car is 10+ years old.
