Default 2005 LS430 Headlight bulb replacement

Greetings people! I am a newbie here so take it easy on me....I tried to find a definitive post on how to get to that blasted high beam lamp on the driver's side but can't seem to do so. If I missed it please direct me to the link.

Anyway, I can remove that small fuse block to get to it and twist it out, but not enough room to remove it from the clip and replace it. Would someone please share the BEST way to get to this thing? Remove the headlight assembly? Remove the bumper? Thanks in advance!

Thanks caddyowner, it helps, but I think this is more for replacing the HID low beams, not the high beams. If I take of the fuse block indicated by the arrows on the thread you included, I still don't have enough room to work out the high beam bulb from the socket. I can get twist it out of the headlight assembly, but that's about it.

digging this up from the grave. i wanted to replace my high beam bulbs with some NightVision Brillant bulbs i got from work. but as the OP stated in here, there isn't enough access. does the head light have to be removed in order to replace the high beam? as the OP stated, search only brought up replacing low beam bulbs and showed threads related to LED conversions. anyone have any input?

It has been a few months so I do not remember exactly how I did it, but I do know it is possible to replace both high beam bulbs without removing the headlight. You are correct that the space is tight.

i took the little trim off that covers the side of the headlight (closest to the grille). i was able to get to fingers on the headlight & get better leverage. but again, still doesn't appear to be enough room to actually remove the bulb.
