On my way home a few days ago the rear end of the car I noticed was bouncy and very stiff, I walk out of the car and notice that the suspension in the rear is at the max height, and the front was completely dropped, I drove over to my Mechanic, who found wires that had been chewed through. Not sure how that came about but in NYC anything is possible plus it is only driven on the weekend, I take the train to work during the week. So connecting the wires back (near the fuse box). We disconnected the battery and then put it back on a few minutes later when the car reset itself back to normal height. Happy that everything was fixed I drove it back to my house and parked it. Then on sunday I go out for a ride and the same problem occurs again. The interesting thing is that the System check is OK and error codes or anything show up. Please help, the car is inoperable. It keeps happening on and off. If it sits for a while it goes back to stock height, once I get behind the wheel the problems start again!!
the sensors were checked, it has been a few days and I drove about 30 miles, nothing happened (meaning the height is normal). Everything was fine, however the wires that were chewed through, they were connected back (not soldered) possible bad connection causing the abnormal height changes?
