Question Lexus LS430

I have 2004 Lexus LS 430. My instrument cluster all light disappeared and went black and could not be repaired. My mechanic replaced it with different speedometer. This speedometer shows less mile compare to my old speedometer. I spoke with the dealer but they could not do any thing to increase the mileage. Any advise or recommendation will be appreciated.

yeah, can't really adjust the odometer since it's digital odo. best thing to do is just keep track of the miles

I remember while living in NY, whenever a car had an odometer changed it was required to have a sticker placed on the car at the actual mileage it was changed. Every state has their own MV requirements.

The shop that replaced the speedo should had affixed a sticker somewhere that states the speedo was replaced and the mileage difference (by Federal law).

Digital odometers are adjustable by a qualified instrument repairer. Maybe see if there's one in your area you could take the new cluster to to have the mileage reading adjusted?
